What is 4D Lottery?

4D stands for “4 Digits” — Malaysia’s most popular form of lottery, played by millions every week. To participate, you pick a 4-digit number between 0000 and 9999 and place a bet. On draw days, each licensed operator draws 23 winning numbers: one 1st prize, one 2nd prize, one 3rd prize, ten Starter prizes and ten Consolation prizes.
If your chosen number matches any of the 23 drawn numbers, you win a cash prize. The payout depends on your bet type (Big or Small) and which prize category your number falls into. Small bets pay more for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize but only win in those three categories, while Big bets cover all 23 numbers at lower rates.
In Malaysia, 4D draws are held three times a week — Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday — by all major operators simultaneously. Players can also participate in special draws on public holidays and festive seasons. Each draw is conducted live and supervised by the relevant authorities to ensure fairness and transparency.

How to Win

Big vs Small Bet
